ABOUT THE FILM

Socially Overwired is a documentary short that takes an intimate look on the mental health effects of social media and smartphone use on today's youth. Through interviews with medical experts, current research, and compelling personal stories from adolescents facing these challenges, the film sheds light on the emotional, psychological, and social implications of excessive screen use.
